Job summary

Thakral One is seeking a Technical Lead to guide architecture, development, and scaling of a SaaS platform in Bengaluru. You will lead engineers, coordinate with Architecture, InfoSec, DevOps, and PM teams to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing solutions.

You will drive technical decisions, mentor teams, and translate business needs into robust software with a focus on scalability and quality.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience developing highly available backend services and web apps.
• 10+ years building and operating cloud-native apps on AWS.
• 5+ years leading development teams on multi-year projects.
• Experience managing direct reports is an advantage.
• Strong backend: Golang or C# (.NET Core/Framework).
• Senior frontend with React and TypeScript, including testing and deployment.
• CI/CD pipelines and Terraform experience.
• Relational DBs (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) familiarity.

As a Technical Lead, you will lead the architecture, development, and scaling of a SaaS platform while guiding a team of engineers in delivering secure, resilient, and high performing solutions. Working closely with Architecture, Information Security, DevOps, and Product Management teams, you will translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive the successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Technical Leadership and Solution Delivery

• Lead the architecture, design, development, and operation of SaaS platform solutions.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define requirements, delivery timelines, and implementation strategies.
• Drive technical decision making that balances quality, scalability, performance, and delivery objectives.
• Contribute directly to architecture, coding, research, and technical problem solving across a variety of technologies and platforms.
• Rapidly assess and contribute to new codebases, projects, and technologies.

Team Leadership and Mentorship

• Lead and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional development.
• Review solutions and implementation approaches to ensure alignment with project goals and engineering standards.
• Foster a collaborative, high performing engineering culture focused on continuous improvement.
• Support teams in refining business requirements into robust and demonstrable applications.

Product and Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Management, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive alignment between product vision, technical architecture, and delivery outcomes.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non technical audiences.

Experience

• You have at least twelve years of experience developing highly available backend services and web applications.
• You have more than ten years of experience building and operating cloud based applications on AWS.
• You have at least five years of experience leading development teams on multi year projects.
• Experience managing direct reports is an advantage.

Technical Expertise

• Strong backend development experience using Golang or C# (.NET Framework or .NET Core).
• Senior level experience building production React and TypeScript applications, including testing, tooling, and deployment.
• Strong experience architecting and building cloud native solutions on AWS.
• Strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
• Strong hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience implementing observability solutions using technologies such as AWS CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, or similar platforms.
• Experience using AI assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate design, testing, code review, and documentation.
