Job summary

Wohlig Transformations Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Tech Lead who owns delivery end-to-end—from discovery and design to build, testing, production rollout and support. You’ll architect cloud solutions and lead a small team while engaging directly with clients.

You will work hands-on with code, reviews, and architectural decisions, maintaining a strong ownership mindset and staying current on cloud and AI technologies. This is a technical, non-management role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a Tech Lead or Solution Architect capacity.
• Solid cloud depth—compute, networking, IAM, managed data services. GCP preferred; Azure or AWS acceptable if willing to upskill on GCP.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs—RAG, agentic architectures, evaluation, prompt engineering.
• Comfort with containers, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, and knowing which to use.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with clients and non-technical audiences.
• Strong ownership mindset; proactively resolve ambiguity and drive outcomes.
• Ability to mentor engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with cloud and AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery end to end—from discovery and solution design through build, UAT, production rollout, and hypercare.
• Architect solutions on cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred; Azure/AWS acceptable) with real enterprise constraints.
• Lead a small team of 2–5 engineers; unblock work and raise the technical bar.
• Engage clients directly; run technical workshops and present architecture to stakeholders.
• Stay with production; triage issues and feed learnings back into architecture.
• Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating new tools and trends and integrating them when appropriate.

Job description

As a Tech Lead, you own an engagement end to end. That means you're in the architecture discussions, in the code, and in the room with the client. You're the person the team looks to when a design decision needs to be made, and the person the client trusts to tell them what's actually feasible.

This is not a people-management role with a technical title attached. You will write code, review code, and be accountable for what ships.

Key Responsibilities

• Own delivery end to end—from discovery and solution design through build, UAT, production rollout, and hypercare. You\'re accountable for timelines, quality, and the technical decisions along the way.
• Architect solutions on cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred; Azure and AWS experience valued) that hold up under real enterprise constraints—security reviews, on-prem connectivity, data residency, cost.
• Lead a small team of 2–5 engineers. Break down work, unblock people, review PRs, and raise the technical bar around you.
• Engage clients directly. Run technical workshops, present architecture to stakeholders (often non-technical), push back when a requirement doesn\'t make sense, and translate business problems into scoped technical work.
• Stay with production. Systems you ship are systems you support. You\'ll triage production issues, own the fix, and feed what you learn back into the architecture.
• Stay ahead of the curve. Our stack changes as the ecosystem does. You should be the kind of person who reads the release notes, gets hands-on with a new tool quickly, and forms a real opinion on whether it belongs in our delivery model.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a Tech Lead or Solution Architect capacity.
• Solid cloud depth—compute, networking, IAM, managed data services. GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run, GKE) preferred; equivalent depth on Azure or AWS is fine if you\'re willing to skill up on GCP quickly.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs—RAG, agentic architectures, evaluation, prompt engineering, and the practical realities of getting these systems reliable enough for production.
• Comfort with containers, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL data stores, and the judgement to know which one the problem calls for.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to confidently engage clients and present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to proactively resolve ambiguity and drive outcomes.
• Ability to mentor engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with emerging cloud and AI technologies.

Nice to Have

• Google Cloud Professional certifications (Architect, ML Engineer, Data Engineer).
• Experience in a consulting or client-services environment.
• Kubernetes and container orchestration in production.
• Exposure to enterprise integration—SAP, ServiceNow, on-prem data platforms, API gateways.
• Observability and production operations experience.
• Open-source contributions or a public body of technical work.
