Job summary

Capgemini in India is seeking a Technical Expert with 12+ years in IP and Optical Development for OTN products to own end-to-end OLS architecture and drive technology choices across hardware and software.

Location options include Chennai, Bangalore, and Pune, with opportunities to work on FlexGrid DWDM systems, Open ROADM, and related interfaces while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust networking solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in IP and Optical Development for OTN products.
• Strong C/C++ programming and Linux operating system fundamentals.
• Flex Grid DWDM systems
• Open Line Systems and disaggregated optical architectures
• Open ROADM specifications and YANG models
• Coherent optics, modulation schemes, and line impairments
• Skilled in a diverse array of DWDM/SONET/SDH/OTN equipment and configurations.
• Experience in OTN L0/L1 Products
• Experience in developing and debugging Device Drivers, Bootloaders, and Board support Packages
• Able read and understand the Hardware-software spec.
• Strong hands-on experience with I2C, SPI, PCIe, GPIO, Serdes, SGMII, GPIO Interfaces is a plus
• Experience with Linux kernel related issues, debug Kernel Panics and apply Patches
• Adaptation to new products and technologies.
• Exceptional customer focus.
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
