Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. is seeking a Technical Executive for our Work Dynamics team in Hyderabad.

The role focuses on maintaining mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations, managing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with M&E contractors to ensure high-quality service with minimal client disruption. You will support engineering leadership, manage spares and inventory, and generate routine reports to track performance and downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems in facilities.
• Ability to prepare critical spares lists and manage inventory.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and adherence to manufacturer guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Manager Engineering/ Engineering Manager in M&E installations and civil maintenance.
• Prepare critical spares lists and plan inventory for in-house maintenance.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce unexpected failures.
• Assist to review maintenance practices of M&E contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain logbooks, checklists and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Manage downtime/breakdowns and coordinate resolutions.
• Coordinate ad-hoc M&E setups as required by the client.
• Ensure contractors comply with house rules and minimize client disruption.
• Independently handle engineering-related shifts and daily facility walks.

What this job involves –

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Manager Engineering/ Engineering Manager in managing the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing installations & all Civil maintenance within the facility.
• Responsible for preparation of critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturer’s recommendations and plan for the inventory where the maintenance is carried out with in-house teams.
• Implement and oversee the pre-emptive maintenance programme to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipment.
• Assist the Chief Engineer to review the maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain the logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for all M & E installations.
• Manage Downtime/ Breakdowns.
• Arrange for ad-hoc M&E set ups as per the client requirement from time to time.
• Ensure the contractors follow the house rules at all times and the projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the Client.
• Responsible to handle the shifts independently on all Engineering related matters.
• Daily Walk around of the Facility

Performance objectives

• Meet or exceed best practice in provision of services through contracts
• Establishment and adherence to policies & procedures, compliance deadlines for each of the tasks as advised by the Operation Manager.
• Effective management of the team

Key skills

• Responsible for daily reporting on M & E to the Assistant Engineering Manager/ Engineering Manager.
• Generate Service maintenance reports on office equipments.
• Generate Inventory and Purchasing of spares and consumables.
• Generate Downtime and breakdown incident reports.
