Job summary

General Mills is seeking an SAP Technical Engineer II to independently handle development tasks across the GMI ecosystem, translating functional requirements into technical specs and delivering complex solutions under guidance. The candidate should possess strong SAP best practices knowledge and help the team maintain them.

The role requires 5+ years of SAP Development experience, with a solid understanding of MM, SD, FI, TM, and related modules, and the ability to drive process improvements

Qualifications

• Education – Full time graduation from an accredited university.
• 5+ years SAP Development experience required. Preferred years of experience 5 – 8 years.
• Good functional understanding in at least three. (MM, SD, FI, TM, etc.)
• The Individual should be able to define and implement integrated Process improvements within the team.
• Consistently deliver on their own commitments while working with a single business group or user.
• Understand at least a single business process and start to demonstrate the ability to resolve issues on their own or with minimal assistance.
• Apply SAP technical standards in their own project work. Proactively ask questions when necessary.

Overview

SAP Technical Engineer II is responsible for custom developments and should be able to work on development tasks independently across GMI eco system, convert functional requirement into technical specification and implement complex solutions under guidance of tech lead/architects in a project. This individual should be possessing good understanding of SAP best practices and should be able to help the team in maintaining the same.

• Expert level - S4 Hana; ABAP for SAP HANA; General ABAP, Enhancement Framework; Forms; ABAP Objects; ALE /IDOC; Web Dynpro for ABAP; SAP Gateway/ Fiori; Performance / Unit Testing; Functional Areas; R/3ERP (SD, MM, FI, TM)
• Intermediate Level – Hands-on experience on TM, BTP/BAS, RAP/ABAP on Cloud
• Basic level – Mulesoft, SAP Workflow
