Job summary

General Mills in Mumbai seeks a SAP Technical Engineer II to lead custom developments and translate requirements into technical specs. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of SAP development experience, with expertise in MM/SD/FI/TM and SAP HANA, ABAP, and related tools.

OVERVIEW

SAP Technical Engineer II is responsible for custom developments and should be able to work on development tasks independently across GMI eco system, convert functional requirement into technical specification and implement complex solutions under guidance of tech lead/architects in a project. This individual should be possessing good understanding of SAP best practices and should be able to help the team in maintaining the same.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education - Full time graduation from an accredited university

• Good functional understanding in at least three. (MM, SD, FI, TM, etc.)
• The Individual should be able to define and implement integrated Process improvements within the team.
• Consistently deliver on their own commitments while working with a single business group or user.
• Understand at least a single business process and start to demonstrate the ability to resolve issues on their own or with minimal assistance.
• Apply SAP technical standards in their own project work.
• Proactively ask questions when necessary.
• Approachable and have established a network within their own workgroups.
