Responsibilities

  • Lead material setup and lifecycle governance through Gate 2, including new items and packaging codes.
  • Drive lifecycle strategy and forecasting to minimize obsolescence and write-offs.
  • Serve as liaison among Commercialization, Sourcing, Operations, plants, and technical teams.
  • Maintain dashboards for cycle times, data accuracy, and project metrics; automate processes where possible.
  • Manage raw-material budgets and coordinate with teams to ensure continuity.

Job Overview

The GIC Supply Chain team manages planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics to meet market needs, optimize operations, and enable the efficient movement of goods from production to delivery.


Purpose of the Role

The Senior Analyst, Product Project Management ensures the availability and effective management of ingredients and packaging materials for US-based product and business initiatives.


Responsibilities include planning-system setup, risk and waste assessment, mitigation, and project execution. Partners with Project Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Management, PMO, Marketing, Sales, R&D, Sourcing, and Manufacturing teams.


Key Accountabilities


  • 100% of Time Product Setup & Commercialization Governance Lead material setup and lifecycle execution through Gate 2, including new items, packaging codes, extensions, and deactivations in SAP and PLM. Ensure master-data accuracy and governance compliance while resolving workflow and system issues with technical and master-data teams. Support mergers, acquisitions, migrations, and commercialization initiatives; serve as SME for SAP, Evolve, PLM, and ServiceNow.

  • Raw Material Lifecycle & Write-Off Management Drive lifecycle strategy, RMWO forecasting, reconciliation, and risk mitigation to minimize write-offs and inventory exposure. Lead packaging/vendor transitions, material changeovers, and DISCO tie‑out and drawdown plans to reduce obsolescence. Partner with Sourcing, Business Operations, and plants on quantities, disposition orders, inventory levels, safety stocks, and operational continuity.

  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary liaison among Commercialization, Sourcing, Business Operations, plants, and Technical teams. Provide risk visibility and mitigation recommendations, track milestones, and highlight impacts to launch timelines and financial exposure. Communicate metrics and lifecycle health while managing material setup, packaging-transition, and lifecycle-risk escalations.

  • Reporting, Controls & Continuous Improvement Maintain dashboards for commercialization cycle times, data accuracy, RMWO performance, and project metrics. Improve lifecycle and data-governance processes through automation, standardization, and CI tools such as Why-Why, FMEA, Fishbone, and BPIM. Develop SOPs and governance standards while identifying cost-saving opportunities across the inbound and raw-material network.

  • Business Impact & Financial Stewardship Manage raw-material budgets and support financial forecasting by reconciling projections with actuals. Reduce write-offs through proactive lifecycle planning and risk mitigation.


Education – Full-time graduation from an accredited university (mandatory; this criterion cannot be altered.)


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
