Purpose of the Role

Accountabilities

• Develop and deliver high quality software solutions using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and development tools while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements, develop solution approaches, and integrate systems aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with peers through code reviews and knowledge sharing to maintain strong code quality standards.
• Stay updated on emerging technology trends and contribute to internal technology communities that promote engineering excellence.
• Follow secure coding practices to reduce vulnerabilities, protect sensitive information, and maintain secure applications.
• Implement unit testing approaches to ensure reliability, maintainability, and readability of code.
• Deliver assigned activities on time and maintain a consistently high standard of work while supporting continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong technical knowledge within the assigned area of expertise and understand the underlying concepts.

Required Skills

• Experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of SQL databases including MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience building REST APIs and working with JSON, XML, and microservices architecture.
• Hands on use of Git, Maven, and Docker.
• Experience with JUnit and Mockito for testing.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Performance tuning and optimization experience.
