Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in a technical lead or engineering management role.
• Proven track record of delivering production-grade full-stack applications using .NET and React.
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database administration and optimization.
• Deep familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical vision and hands-on guidance across full-stack .NET and React development.
• Drive architecture decisions for APIs, microservices, database design, and frontend architecture.
• Review and approve code, system designs, and architecture documents; enforce engineering standards and best practices.
• Lead technical deep-dives, root cause analyses, and resolution of critical production incidents.
• Manage a team of 10–20 engineers across backend, frontend, database, and DevOps disciplines.
• Own Azure cloud infrastructure decisions including App Services, PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Azure Service Bus, Application Insights, and VNet/Private Endpoint configurations.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps; champion automation, quality gates, and deployment reliability.

Simplify Healthcare is looking for a highly experienced Technical Manager to lead engineering teams building next-generation healthcare administration platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise in full-stack .NET and React development, PostgreSQL database design, Azure cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices — and has a strong track record of technical leadership, architecture decision-making, and team development in a compliance-sensitive environment.

You will own end-to-end technical delivery, guide your team through complex integration and infrastructure challenges, and ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of security, reliability, and scalability.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical vision and hands-on guidance across full-stack .NET 10 and React web application development.
• Drive architecture decisions for APIs, microservices, database design, messaging systems (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ), and frontend architecture.
• Review and approve code, system designs, and architecture documents; enforce engineering standards and best practices.
• Lead technical deep-dives, root cause analyses, and resolution of critical production incidents.
• Manage a team of 10–20 engineers across backend, frontend, database, and DevOps disciplines.

• .NET ecosystem — from legacy .NET Framework through modern .NET 10, including middleware, DI, background services, and TickerQ or Hangfire job scheduling.
• React — component architecture, hooks, state management (Redux), and performance optimization for complex web applications.
• PostgreSQL — schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, CDC patterns, PL/pgSQL, and hosting on Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server (Premium SSD v2, read replicas, Private Endpoint).
• Azure platform — App Service P3v3/P4v3, VNet Integration, Private Endpoints, Azure AD / B2C, Service Bus topics/subscriptions, and Application Insights telemetry.
• DevOps — YAML pipeline authoring in Azure DevOps, multi-stage deployments, artifact management, branch strategies (GitFlow / trunk-based), and automated quality gates.

• Familiarity with Anthropic Claude API or LLM integration for engineering automation (e.g., AI-assisted code review in CI pipelines).
• Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-400, or AZ-305).
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, mTLS, and enterprise SSO patterns (Azure AD B2C).
• Prior exposure to event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus and RabbitMQ.
