Job summary

VAYUZ Technologies in Bengaluru, Karnataka seeks an experienced Business Analyst to translate business needs into actionable specifications and ensure alignment with IT systems. You will document BRDs, FRDs, process maps, and write clear user stories.

You will analyze data trends, create dashboards in Power BI, and collaborate with stakeholders using JIRA, Confluence, SQL and Excel. Knowledge of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall, plus strong communication, is essential.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years of Business Analyst experience in IT/business operations.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, SQL, Excel and Power BI.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts, Cloud Services, UI/UX.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Document functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., user stories, use cases, process flows).
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for technical teams.
• Write clear user stories, business requirement documents, and other artifacts capturing functional and non-functional requirements.
• Process Improvement:
• Analyze existing workflows and identify areas for automation.
• Recommend solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Interpret data trends, KPIs, and metrics to support decision-making.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations (using tools like Excel, Power BI).
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather relevant information and analyze current/future state processes.
• Perform data analysis and collaborate with data architects to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Act as a liaison between business teams, IT, and external vendors.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to align stakeholders.
• Validate delivered solutions align with business needs and participate in testing activities.
• Project Support:
• Assist in project planning, scope definition, and risk assessment.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Support change management activities, identify potential risks, and actively seek opportunities for process improvement.
• Documentation:
• Maintain project documentation (BRDs, FRDs, process maps, meeting notes).
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure understanding of business requirements for system integration and development projects.

Must Have

• Around 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a deep understanding of business operations and IT systems.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, SQL, Excel, Power BI.
• Experience in SDLC, Agile, Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts, Cloud Services, UI/UX.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
