Job summary

ALTEN India is seeking a Technical Author to develop Airbus IPC manuals and align content with SAP-maintained maintenance procedures. The role involves extracting information from tools like AIRINA, TAKSY, PASS-SSI, TDUMS, AIRNAVx, and RFR, and performing impact analyses on events such as MPM, SB, COC, and concessions.

Applicants should have expertise in Airbus IPC documentation, S1000D, iSpec2200, and ASD STE 100, with English at C1 level.

Qualifications

• Experience creating Airbus IPC manuals and material procedures per ATA iSpec 2200 / S1000D.
• Active AIRBUS proofreader certificate is a benefit.
• Proficiency with SAP, CADABUS, Image Master and other doc tools.
• S1000D, ATA iSpec2200, ASD STE 100, EN/AS 9100 standards knowledge.
• English proficiency level C1.

• Follow a defect-free delivery approach and achieve project objectives.
• Provide continual improvement and adapt to changes.
• Act as a technical expert and proofread AWOs.

Job description

Job Title: Technical Author

• Author IPC manuals, material procedure as per ATA iSpec 2200/S1000D and further align the content with maintenance manuals in SAP
• Extract information from tools like AIRINA, TAKSY, PASS-SSI, TDUMS, AIRNAVx, RFR, COC etc...
• Perform impact analysis on events like MPM, SB, COC, concessions, TR dossiers and other triggers for authoring
• Investigate the technical requests, check evaluation orders and respond in the defined time frame
• Good knowledge of SA, LR, MB and XWB aircrafts
• Proactively steer the workorders through different phases of workflow and report the status of the assigned workload
• Take accountability for the technical updates
• Follow a defect free delivery approach at each step of production and fully reach the project objectives
• Have a continual improvement mindset and extend support for being reviewed and adapt to changes, to align with organization goals and customer requirements
• Act as a technical expert and perform proof reading of the AWO’s

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Expertise in Airbus IPC technical documentation
• Impact analysis, preparation, Authoring and Proofreading. Having an active AIRBUS proofreader certificate is a benifit.
• SAP, CADABUS, Image Master, AirnavX, Airina, and other technical documentation tools
• S1000D, ATA iSpec2200, ASD STE 100, EN/AS 9100
• English Proficiency level C1

Education

BE / BTech / AME in Aerospace, Mechanical,

Experience

1-3 years of experience working on Airbus IPC manuals, material procedures as per ATA iSpec 2200 / S1000D, and aligning the content with maintenance manuals in SAP.
