Job summary

Laxmi Organic Industries Limited seeks a Technical Associate Manufacturing (Field) to manage field, tank farm and PESO area operations in Dahej. The role requires ensuring SOP-compliant batch charging, monitoring maintenance, and safe handling of chemicals and gases.

You will work under the supervision of the shift in-charge, coordinating with helpers and ensuring adherence to safety norms with a focus on zero incidents.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Diploma in Chemical required.
• Experience in field operations in chemical manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of safety norms and process safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring batch charging as per SOP.
• Monitor maintenance activities in field and tank farm.
• Handle chemicals and hazardous gases following SOP and safety norms.
• Oversee tanker loading/unloading per SOP and ensure zero accidents.

Office Location: Dahej.

Position description: This position is responsible for Field ,Tank Farm and PESO Area Operations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that batch charging is done as per Standard Operating Procedure ( SOP)
• Monitor the maintenance jobs
• Doing chemical handling by his own hand.
• Tanker loading unloading is done as per Standard Operating Procedure ( SOP)
• Unloading of gases like Chlorine, SO2, AHF or ammonia from Tonner.
• Loading ,unloading of empty/ filled tonner of chlorine /AHF.
• Follow instructions given by Panel officer and shift incharge.
• Ensure work is being done by helpers and the abide to all the safety norms
• Follow the safety norms to achieve zero breakdown
• Carry out sampling process and send the samples to QC for analysis
• Look after the manpower handling
• Ensure to follow safety norms to achieve zero accidents
• To participate in Root Cause Analysis of Various safety and process safety incidents, Monitor and ensure implementation of CAPA ( Corrective Actions & Preventive Actions)
• To Support Various Process safety and Responsible Care Initiatives
• Report any near miss / incident or any non compliance
• Responsible to complete any other assignment given by the seniors
