Job summary

YASH Technologies in Bengaluru, Karnataka, seeks a Microsoft Fabric Architect with 12+ years of experience to lead data platform initiatives. You will design and govern data architecture, oversee ETL processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud data solutions using MS Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse and Delta Lake.

The role requires strong SQL development, data modelling, and prior DWH experience, with at least 3 years in MS Fabric/Azure as an architect,

Job Description

• Over all 12 + Years experience and a Minimum 3+Years exp in MS Fabric /Azure should have worked as an architect for at least 3 years,3+ Data Modelling experience
• Should be able to Define and communicate data architecture requirements, keeping current with data management best practices.
• Should come from DWH background,
• Should have strong ETL experience
• Extensive hands-on experience with MS Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks (with Unity Catalog), Azure Functions, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Delta Lake, and Azure SQL Database for managing and processing large-scale data integrations.
• Strong Communication and Analytical skills.
• Highly proficient at SQL development
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience in BAU projects in Azure space should be able to bring in best practices and stabilize the environment
• Collaborates with data owners to establish data quality rules and definitions.
• Implements the data quality rules in a data management system.
• Work as team lead to develop Cloud Data and Analytics solutions
• Mentor junior developers and testers
• Able to build strong relationships with client technical team
• Participate in the development of cloud data warehouses, data as a service, business intelligence solutions
• Data wrangling of heterogeneous data
• Coding complex Spark (Scala or Python).
• Developing Modern Data Warehouse solutions using Azure Stack (Azure Databricks)

Architecture tools and frameworks:

• Familiarity with industry tools and frameworks and ability to analyse and use them based on customer requirements.
• Work with SMEs to explore new tools and frameworks for implementation.

Architecture Concepts and Principles:

• Provides deep subject matter expertise, advice for the program delivery.
• Contributes to the development of new techniques and plans within area of expertise.
• Establish Architectural principles & patterns.
• Conduct technical & design reviews.
• Use advanced tools to capture and analyse system / technical issues.

Technology/Product Knowledge:

• Implement code or configure/customize products, drive adoption of industry standards and practices, and contribute to development of reusable assets and innovative solutions.
• Work on complex modules independently.
• Analyse various frameworks/tools and present recommendations, contribute to development of training and certification material, and demonstrate thought leadership through whitepapers and webinars.

Application Design:

• Mastery of design principles and performance engineering concepts
• Lead design efforts, creating a design strategy, and establishing design principles and guidelines while maintaining the design standards and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate design risks, proactively anticipate issues, and recommend corrective steps.
• Innovate and bring in new design ideas, improve existing design processes, and tools.

Estimation and Resource Planning:

• Good Understanding of estimation and resource planning techniques, such as the WBS model.
• Identify the resources required to complete a task and use appropriate estimation models for low to medium complexity scenarios.
