The role combines architectural ownership with hands-on engineering across Python, APIs, DevOps, cloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation in a hybrid Pune environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture and technical design for platform engineering.
• Develop scalable Python-based applications, automation frameworks, and APIs.
• Architect and implement CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Design internal developer platforms using Backstage and Harness.
• Define cloud-native architectures across AKS, Azure, OpenShift, GCP, and Kubernetes environments.
• Establish best practices for DevOps, CI/CD, IaC, security, and reliability.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.
• Evaluate new technologies and drive platform modernization.
• Contribute to AI-driven engineering and automation initiatives.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineering Architect with strong hands‑on expertise in Python, API development, DevOps, cloud, and developer platforms. The role will be responsible for defining technical architecture, driving platform engineering initiatives, and building scalable automation and CI/CD solutions.The ideal candidate will combine architectural ownership with strong hands‑on engineering capabilities, working closely with development, DevOps, and cloud teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture and technical design for platform engineering and automation solutions.
• Develop scalable Python-based applications, automation frameworks, and APIs.
• Architect and implement CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
