Job summary

Umanist Staffing in Pune is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and AWS expertise to design, build, operate, and support scalable cloud platforms and deployment solutions.

You will work closely with engineering teams to improve deployment processes, implement GitOps practices, manage AWS EKS/VPC, and advance CI/CD pipelines across multi-account environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, particularly Amazon EKS
• Experience with AWS VPC and related AWS services
• Experience supporting applications in multi-account AWS environments
• Experience migrating systems/data between AWS IaaS and PaaS
• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building reliable CI/CD workflows supporting multiple application teams
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and MacOS administration and troubleshooting
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools including ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Jaeger
• Hands-on experience implementing GitOps principles

Job Overview
