Job summary

Dentsu Global Services is seeking a seasoned Data Architect to design scalable, multi-cloud data architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will lead pre-sales activities, craft architecture diagrams, and respond to RFPs/RFIs while collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into concrete designs.

The role requires hands-on development and mentoring of junior architects, with a focus on data governance, security, and modern analytics pipelines.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of cloud architecture experience.
• Hands-on with AWS/Azure/GCP data services (any two).
• Strong data modelling, ETL/ELT, warehousing, analytics.
• Expertise in data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to prepare proposals, architecture diagrams, and cost models.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.
• Hands-on development to design and implement solutions.
• Experience with Python for data engineering and prototyping.
• Mentor junior architects and grow the architecture practice.
• Databricks SAAS tools and related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Job Description:
• We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with expertise in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). The role involves designing scalable data architectures, providing pre-sales support, and parterning to provide technical responses for RFPs/RFIs. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with strong client-facing communication skills to deliver innovative solutions and drive business growth.
• Key responsibilities:
• Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures across multi-cloud platforms.
• Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams, deliver technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
• RFP/RFI Management: Partner to provide technical responses, craft solution narratives, architecture diagrams, and cost estimates.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and engage with client stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable designs.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and contribute to internal frameworks and reusable assets.
• Team Development: Guide and mentor junior architects, fostering growth and capability development within the team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

• Must have skills:
• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure and/or GCP data services (BigQuery, Synapse, Redshift, Databricks, etc.). Any two cloud experience
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and analytics platforms.
• Expertise in data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to prepare solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and cost models.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.
• Should be hands-on in development, with the ability to design and implement solutions directly.
• Experience in Python for data engineering, automation, and solution prototyping.
• Mentor junior architects to develop technical capabilities and strengthen the overall architecture practice.
• SAAS based tools experience (Databricks etc)
• MDM experience ( Informatica, Reltio, Profisee etc)
• Agentic AI skills
• Good to have skills
• Proven track record in pre-sales solutioning and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
• 'Familiarity with AI/ML integration into data architectures.
• Prior experience in consulting.
• Onsite experience in Europe / UK / US

• Education Qualification-
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Certification: If Any 2 of the below
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Azure Data Engineer / Azure Solutions Architect
• GCP Professional Data Engineer
• Other relevant cloud or data architecture certifications are a plus.
