Job summary

VitalEdge Technologies in Maharashtra seeks a highly experienced Technical Architect to define and drive architectural strategy across enterprise platforms, with a focus on non-functional requirements.

This individual contributor role reports to the Sr. Director of Engineering and collaborates with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to design scalable, observable, and secure systems using Azure/.NET/Fabric/Power BI, mentoring engineers along the way.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of software engineering/architecture experience.
• Strong expertise in non-functional requirements (NFRs).
• Hands-on experience with the Microsoft stack (Azure, .NET, Fabric, Power BI).
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices; ERP or enterprise product background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce NFRs: performance, scalability, reliability, security.
• Design scalable, resilient enterprise systems.
• Lead architecture reviews and modernization initiatives.
• Drive Microsoft ecosystem architecture (Azure, Fabric, Power BI, .NET).
• Lead performance testing and optimization.
• Establish observability and reliability practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams.
• Mentor architects and senior engineers.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect with deep expertise in non-functional requirements (NFRs) to define and drive architectural strategy across enterprise platforms.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and enforce NFRs: performance, scalability, reliability, security


• Design scalable and resilient enterprise systems


• Lead architecture reviews and modernization initiatives
