Job summary

PwC India is seeking a Guidewire Technical Architect to lead end-to-end architecture across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter. You will shape technical roadmaps, design scalable and secure Guidewire solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver complex insurance platforms.

Strong experience in Gosu, Java, REST/SOAP, and cloud-native approaches is required. Role involves mentoring teams, conducting code reviews, and guiding architecture for on-premises, cloud, or hybrid

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Guidewire implementations and upgrades in insurance.
• Expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud platforms and Edge APIs.
• Proficient in Gosu and Java.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Knowledge of microservices architectures.
• DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture for Guidewire implementations across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
• Define technical architecture, roadmaps, and design strategies for Guidewire deployments, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid.*
• Design scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions within Guidewire and integrated enterprise systems.
• Develop architectural blueprints, technical roadmaps, and technology strategies aligned with long-term business goals.
• Evaluate and recommend adoption of new Guidewire features, cloud capabilities, AI/ML integrations, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
• Provide architectural leadership for large-scale Guidewire implementations, upgrades, and cloud migration programs.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to business stakeholders, project teams, and senior leadership.
• Define and govern non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, security, availability, and disaster recovery.
