Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Guidewire expert with 5-12 years experience to work on configuration and integration for Insurance products.

The role requires Java/J2EE with Guidewire experience (Policy, Billing, Claim Centers), GOSU, and strong SQL skills. Prior exposure to SOA, web services and JMS/MQ is important. Agile/Scrum environment experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Exposure to Property and Casualty Insurance business.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum projects.
• Guidewire Certifications preferred.

• Ability to design and develop Guidewire Integration components / configure PC/BC/CC.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Guidewire integration components and configurations.
• Participate in Guidewire platform upgrades and cloud-related tasks.
• Handle integrations with ESB, legacy systems and third-party applications.
• Contribute to incident, problem, and change management for Guidewire configurations.
• Collaborate in a Scrum/Agile environment and mentor juniors.

Roles & Responsibilities

5 - 12 years (with 3- 5 years of experience in Guidewire Configuration / Integration)

• Exposure and Awareness of Property and Casualty Insurance Business
• Working and delivering in the Agile/Scum practice is highly desirable
• Guidewire Certifications highly preferred
• Java/J2EE resource with Guidewire Experience (Policy Center/Billing Center/Claim Center)
• Should be able to design and develop Guidewire Integration Components/ Configure PC or BC or CC
• Should have Guidewire Platform Upgrade Experience (Upgrade and Cloud experience would be preferred)
• Hands-on experience with GOSU, Web Services and XML
• Experience on any database Oracle / SQL Server and well versed in SQL
• Implementation proficiency and hands-on experience in GW Integration viz. Integration with ESB, Legacy application, and/or Third party Vendor Applications
• Experience with common integration mechanisms including Service Oriented architecture, web services (SOAP), Messaging (JMS,MQ)
• Experienced in GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model and workflows
• Should have Unit test(gunits) and Technical Design Documentation experience
• Good experience in Incident management, Problem management, Request Handling for Guidewire PC/BC/CC configurations, customizations and third party integrations
• Hands on exposure to GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Rally, SVN, JMS messaging queues
