Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking an accomplished Java/J2EE architect to provide technical leadership for large-scale enterprise applications. You will guide cross-functional teams, ensure architectural integrity, and drive secure, high-performing solutions.

The role requires 12+ years in Java and 4+ years in an architect capacity, with strong SOLID and clean-architecture expertise. You will mentor teams and define coding standards and best practices in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development with 4+ years in an architect role.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large scale enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, clean architecture, and scalable system design.
• Experience with performance tuning, security hardening, and high availability systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for Java-based applications.
• Perform code reviews, design reviews, and ensure solutions meet security, performance, and quality requirements.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, technical standards, and ensure adherence to best practices and established processes.
• Guide and collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Support teams to unblock issues and drive delivery.
• Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and architectural guidelines.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve system capabilities.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
• Mentor and coach development teams on architectural best practices.

A Bachelor's or Higher Degree is the minimum entry required for the position
