Walking Tree seeks a seasoned Java Architect to define, design, and implement scalable, secure enterprise applications. You will drive technology strategy, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to establish architectural standards across projects.

The role requires deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud technologies, and distributed systems, with a track record of delivering enterprise solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in Java enterprise application development.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or Java Architect.
• Strong experience in architecting Microservices-based enterprise applications.
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing cloud-native solutions on Azure or AWS.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL database architecture and optimization.
• Experience implementing API Gateways and enterprise integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture for enterprise-scale applications using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot Microservices.

• Work closely with UI teams using ReactJS/Angular to ensure seamless application integration.

• Establish coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design reviews.
• Mentor Technical Leads and development teams on architecture and design principles.
• Drive performance tuning, application security, scalability, and reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend technology adoption strategies.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and enterprise architecture standards.
