Job summary

TekPillar in Pune seeks a Technical Application Manager with 7+ years of experience in applying technical support and management within IoT/Automotive environments.

The role focuses on incident/problem/SLA management, connected truck applications, and data-driven improvements using Kafka, Snowflake, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Technical Application Support/Management.
• IoT or Automotive environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka/Confluent and data streaming.
• Hands-on with Snowflake, SQL, Python, AWS, and BI tools.
• Experience in Incident/Problem/SLA management and RCA.
• Understanding of Connected Vehicles, truck telematics, fleet management and sensor data analytics.
• Knowledge of CAN networks, DBC files, SAE J1939 and FMS standards.
• Experience with ServiceNow and Agile SAFe, vendor management.
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Connected Truck applications, ensuring high availability and operational excellence.
• Monitor application performance, proactively resolve incidents, and drive RCA.
• Lead incident, problem, and SLA management while coordinating with global teams and third-party vendors.
• Analyze truck sensor and telematics data to identify anomalies and improve data quality.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Snowflake.
• Drive data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvements through automation and analytics.
• Mentor technical teams and lead structured problem-solving using RCA, 8D, and DMAIC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional, global stakeholders to ensure seamless application delivery and support.
• Manage vendor relationships, technical risks, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and GDPR standards.
