Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical analysis; experience with an established stockbroking firm preferred.
• Hands-on experience in Excel.
• Proficiency in using technical analysis software(s).
• Expertise in chart patterns and technical market indicators across market segments and indices.
• Ability to identify market trends through technical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and track equities, indices, bonds, commodities, and currencies using technical tools.
• Generate medium/long-term trading recommendations and strategies.
• Create detailed research reports with market outlook and recommendations.
• Prepare detailed reports on the technical outlook of asset classes.
• Recommend long-term ideas and short-term trade picks for internal stakeholders.
• Support client acquisition and present market strategy reports.
• Develop a strong team of technical analysts via technology, people, and processes.
• Maintain research registry and logs of recommendations.
• Monitor recommendation strike rate to achieve industry-leading performance.
• Develop SOPs and process manuals for scalability of the function.
