This role combines energy engineering expertise with customer account management to develop, deliver and optimize energy efficiency and sustainability solutions for commercial, industrial and institutional customers. The role requires strong knowledge of HVAC systems, energy auditing, building performance optimization and customer relationship management.
Strong expertise in energy auditing, HVAC systems, chilled water plants, energy modelling and building performance optimization. Experience with:
Energy Audit: BEE energy audits, power/flue-gas analyzers, thermography, ultrasonic flow meters, energy balance and Sankey analysis.
HVAC & Chilled Water: Centrifugal/screw/reciprocating/absorption chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, chilled-water loops, decouplers, valves, COP and part-load performance, VFDs.
Energy Modelling & BMS: Chalk Talk, Demand Flow, EnergyPlus/eQuest or equivalent, APOGEE, Desigo Insight or similar BMS platforms, calibrated energy models.
Renewable & Emerging Technologies: Solar PV, net/gross metering, thermal energy storage, heat pumps, heat recovery, waste heat recovery and battery storage.
Standards & Regulations: BEE, ECBC, PAT, ASHRAE 90.1/62.1 and Indian energy regulations/tariff structures.
Strong customer engagement, consultative problem solving, presentation and communication skills, project management, advanced Excel/data analysis, financial modelling, NPV/payback analysis, report writing and cross-functional collaboration.
Energy audits completed, energy savings identified, customer satisfaction/NPS, PM10→PM20→PM40 conversion, proposal win rate, accuracy of predicted vs. actual savings, repeat business/customer retention and capability-building initiatives.
Primarily customer-facing and field-based, with 60–70% travel for audits, assessments and implementation. The role also involves office work, flexible customer-driven schedules and collaboration with global Siemens teams.
