Schneider Electric India seeks an Energy Performance Analyst to deliver contractual monitoring reports, perform metering gap analysis, and conduct data analysis on time-series data from building and industrial systems in Bengaluru.
You will work with SCADA, BAS trends, and analytics tools to identify energy and cost-saving opportunities, support M&V plans, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for clients and internal teams.
This role is intended to provide technical analysis of energy, other utilities, control and sustainability data in the Energy Bureau (EB).
The Energy Performance Analyst will be responsible for delivering contractual monitoring reports, creating and executing measurement and verification plans, performing custom data analysis for a variety of time-series sets of data, including interval utility data, building automation system trend data, and other logged data series. The role requires a strong understanding of SCADA systems, equipment control strategies, and the identification and mapping of relevant operational tags associated with various building and industrial systems. In addition, the Energy Performance Analyst conducts metering gap assessments to identify missing metering infrastructure required for detailed performance analysis and enhanced system visibility. The analyst is responsible for identifying trends in system behaviour, evaluating operational performance over time, and translating analytical insights into actionable energy and cost-saving opportunities across the client portfolio.
The role will also include assessing and managing energy guarantee risk, improving monitoring deliverables, consulting on analytics software development, and continuously refining the execution process.
The position requires a broad but general understanding of energy concepts such as tariffs, measurement metrics, energy efficiency solutions, load shifting and Active Energy Management. The role will require the applicant to be comfortable working with large data sets and leveraging a suit of different software platforms to visualise data to the benefit of clients. Problem solving skills will be key to the position and the role will require the applicant to work closely with multiple subject matter experts within Schneider Electric and client organisations to deliver our services effectively.
Significant understanding of building/industrial energy consuming systems and controls
Deep understanding of data management and analysis techniques

Advanced ability to use Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated ability to learn various online software platforms
Software and programming experience
Experience configuring JIRA Service Desk and/or Qlik systems
BMS and/or SCADA system configuration and control
(e.g. language and technical skills)
