Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions in Visakhapatnam is seeking an L3 Wintel Lead Engineer (VMware with Windows) to lead VMware and Windows server environments on-site.

You will manage vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, vMotion, vDS, vLCM, horizon (preferred), and Windows Server 2016-2022, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, PKI, and security hardening.

Immediate joiners desired; this role focuses on uptime, incident response, optimization, and collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• VMware vSphere 7.x/8.x knowledge expected.
• Experience with ESXi administration and vCenter management.
• Understanding HA/DRS/FT and vMotion.
• Windows Server patching and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• VMware administration and support for vSphere environments.
• Administer ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, and datastores.
• Configure HA, vMotion, Storage vMotion, and vDS.
• Perform VMware upgrades, patching, and migrations.
• Manage Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, PKI.
• Incident management and RCA with runbooks.
• Automation scripting with PowerShell/PowerCLI.

• VMware Administration

Manage and support VMware vSphere environments.

Administer VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, clusters, resource pools, and datastores.

Configure and maintain:

High Availability (HA)

vMotion and Storage vMotion

Distributed Virtual Switches (vDS)

VMware Lifecycle Manager (vLCM)

Perform VMware upgrades, patching, and migrations.

Troubleshoot performance, storage, networking, and virtualization issues. Capacity planning and resource optimization.

Implement and maintain VMware disaster recovery solutions.

Support VMware Horizon VDI environments

• Windows Server Administration

Manage Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 environments.

Install, configure, and maintain:

Active Directory

DNS

DHCP

Group Policy

DFS

File and Print Services

Perform Windows Server patching and lifecycle management.

Manage certificate services and PKI infrastructure.

Troubleshoot authentication and domain-related issues.

Implement server hardening and security best practices.

Perform server migrations and upgrades.
