Job summary

UNISON Group is seeking a Technical Business Analyst in Bengaluru to bridge business needs and technical data solutions. The role focuses on analytics, data quality, and reporting across SAP BW and non-SAP sources, with strong SQL and Python capabilities for automation.

You will design data mappings, KPIs and dashboards in Power BI, collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders, and support end-to-end data workflows from BRD to production rollout.

Qualifications

• For this role, candidates should demonstrate hands-on experience as Technical Business Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• Experience with SAP BW and SAP data environments is essential.
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries, joins and data validation are required.
• Good working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation.
• Strong Power BI experience including dashboards, data modelling and DAX.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst / Business Data Analyst.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP BW and SAP data environments.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in complex queries, joins, aggregations and data validation.
• Good working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation.
• Strong experience in Power BI, including dashboard development, data modelling and DAX.
• Understanding of ETL/data pipelines, data warehousing and data modelling.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical/data requirements.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred

• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA or SAP HANA.
• Knowledge of Power BI DAX, Power Query and data modelling.
• Experience with data quality, governance and reconciliation processes.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms and modern data engineering environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
