Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong data analytics and statistical analysis skills with experience extracting information from databases and Office 365.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting.
• Experience designing data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decisions.
• Solid knowledge of databases and data warehousing concepts (Azure Synapse, SAP HANA, SQL Server).
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytical/technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test data models to import data from source systems.
• Analyze heterogeneous source data and write SQL scripts to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Conduct statistical analysis to generate insights and present findings to business users.
• Migrate data into standardized platforms (Power BI) and build data models to improve processes.
• Own technical implementation and documentation for datasets; provide project updates and root cause analyses.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test data models to import data from source systems to meet project requirements.
• Analyze heterogeneous source data and write SQL scripts to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Conduct statistical analysis to generate actionable insights and present findings to business users for informed decision-making.
• Perform data mining to provide actionable data in response to changing business requirements.
• Understand business requirements and develop dashboards to meet business needs.
• Adapt to changing business requirements and support the implementation of best practices in data analytics.
• Migrate data into standardized platforms (Power BI) and build critical data models to improve process performance and product quality.
• Own the technical implementation and documentation associated with datasets.
• Provide updates on project progress and perform root cause analysis on completed projects, addressing identified improvement areas (process, product quality, performance, etc.).
• Deliver post-implementation support to ensure that project benefits are realized sustainably.
• Build effective relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Independently manage stakeholder expectations, utilizing time effectively for larger initiatives with minimal guidance.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to peers and junior team members.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong skills in Data Analysis & Statistical Analysis; experience in extracting information from databases and Office 365.
• Solid knowledge of Python.
• Experience with advanced statistical techniques.
• Knowledge of SAP systems (SAP ECC T-Codes & Navigation).
• Expertise in Database Development, Troubleshooting, and Problem-solving skills (SQL Server, SAP HANA, Azure Synapse).
• Experience in project requirements gathering and converting business requirements into analytical and technical specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills; able to communicate effectively across functions.
• Expertise in Reports & Dashboard development (Power BI).

Other Skills

• Experience with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies.
• Understanding of enterprise server architecture and cloud platforms.
• Ability to deliver training and presentations in the area of expertise.
• Good understanding of business processes and experience in Manufacturing/Inventory Management domains.
