Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior network architect to lead infrastructure consulting, advisory, design and implementation for enterprise clients in India. You will develop and drive end-to-end network solutions and engage with customers to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires 12–14 years of hands-on experience in network consulting and implemention, with CCNP/JNCIP/PCNSE or equivalent certifications and strong cloud networking expertise across Azure, AWS and GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, ECE or related field.
• 12–14 years of hands-on networking consulting, advisory, design and implementation.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSE or equivalent are required.
• CCIE or other expert-level certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of OSI/TCP-IP, L2/L3 tech, and cloud networking.

Job description

• Lead network infrastructure consulting, advisory, design and implementation
• Develop and drive end-to-end network solutions for clients
• Lead teams and engage with clients
• Implement and manage enterprise networking, cloud networking, network security, SD-WAN, virtualization and automation solutions
• Build solutions using networking technologies, public cloud platforms and major network vendors

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, ECE or a related field
• 12–14 years of hands-on experience in network consulting, advisory, design, & implementation
• Must have professional certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSE, or equivalent
• CCIE or other expert-level certifications are a plus
• Strong grasp of networking fundamentals: OSI & TCP/IP models, Layer 2 & Layer 3 technologies
• Deep expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, VxLAN, VPNs
• Strong expertise in cloud networking across Azure, AWS & GCP
• Hands-on experience with VNet peering, Transit Gateway, VPN Gateway, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute and cloud-native firewalls
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Aruba or similar vendors
• Good understanding of SASE technologies
• Proficiency in firewalls, IDS/IPS and load balancers
• Strong hands-on experience with SD-WAN, network virtualization, cloud networking, SDDC, SDN and network automation
• Good to have knowledge of Ansible and Terraform for automation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to lead teams, engage with clients and drive end-to-end solutions
• Preference for early joiners within 30 days
