Job summary

YASH Technologies is seeking an experienced UiPath Test Automation Tech Lead to drive automation strategy and framework design across enterprise applications. You will mentor a team, define standards, and collaborate with Business, QA, Development, DevOps, and Infra teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced UiPath Test Automation Tech Lead with 5-7 years of experience in software testing and automation, including strong hands‑on expertise in UiPath Test Suite, UiPath Robots, and UiPath Orchestrator. The ideal candidate should have led test automation initiatives, managed teams, and delivered enterprise‑scale automation programs across multiple applications and technologies. The Tech Lead will be responsible for driving test automation strategy, solution design, framework architecture, delivery governance, and mentoring team members while ensuring high‑quality and scalable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end test automation engagements using UiPath Test Suite. Define automation strategy, standards, best practices, and governance. Analyze business and technical requirements and identify automation opportunities. Design and architect scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks. Lead development of automated test cases for Web, Desktop, SAP, API, and End-to‑End business process testing. Configure, deploy, schedule, and monitor automated test execution using UiPath Robots and Orchestrator. Drive CI/CD and Continuous Testing initiatives across projects. Review automation scripts, framework components, and technical deliverables. Provide effort estimations, solution design, and implementation planning. Collaborate with Business, QA, Development, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams. Monitor automation execution, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure platform stability. Generate automation metrics, dashboards, ROI reports, and leadership updates. Mentor and guide automation engineers and junior team members. Participate in client discussions, solution workshops, and technical presentations.

Mandatory Skills

5-7 years of overall experience in Software Testing and Test Automation. Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on experience with UiPath Test Suite. Strong expertise in: UiPath Studio, UiPath Test Suite, UiPath Test Manager, UiPath Orchestrator, UiPath Robots (Attended and Unattended). Proven experience leading test automation projects and teams. Experience designing and implementing enterprise‑scale automation frameworks. Strong experience automating: Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, API Testing, End‑to‑End Business Process Testing. Hands‑on experience with Robot deployment, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Experience integrating UiPath Test Suite with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub, or other CI/CD platforms. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Testing practices. Experience with test management, reporting, and quality metrics. Excellent problem‑solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

UiPath Certified Professional (Advanced/Professional Level). Experience with SAP Test Automation using UiPath. Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, or other automation tools. Experience with AI‑powered testing capabilities and test optimization. Knowledge of SQL, databases, and API validation. Experience working with large enterprise clients and global delivery teams.

Leadership Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Test Automation Engineers. Conduct code reviews and enforce automation best practices. Drive automation adoption and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage technical risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines. Support presales activities, effort estimations, and solution proposals when required. Act as the primary technical point of contact for automation‑related discussions.

End-to-End Experience Required

The candidate should have independently led and delivered automation programs covering: Requirement Analysis, Automation Assessment and Strategy, Framework Architecture and Design, Test Planning and Estimation, Test Case Automation, Robot Configuration and Deployment, Test Data Management, Test Execution and Validation, Defect Management, CI/CD Integration, Reporting and Dashboarding, Production Support and Automation Maintenance, Team Leadership and Delivery Governance.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Proven experience leading UiPath Test Automation implementations from inception to deployment. Strong hands‑on technical expertise combined with leadership capabilities. Experience managing teams of 3-10 automation engineers. Ability to engage with customers, architects, and senior stakeholders. Strong focus on quality, delivery excellence, and automation ROI.
