Job summary

MKS Inc. seeks a Senior Engineer (II) - QA to lead end-to-end testing of enterprise applications, partnering with business stakeholders, SMEs, and global teams. You will drive test automation, quality governance, and defect management with AI-enabled testing and data-driven insights to support transformation.

You will mentor junior QA members, collaborate across time zones (including US) and apply testing across FIT, SIT, UAT, and production releases with strong emphasis on automation and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manual and automated testing across enterprise systems, including Functional, Integration, UAT, and Regression.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and related modules (SD/MM/FICO).
• Proficiency in test management and automation frameworks (Tricentis Tosca, qTest).

Responsibilities

• Lead FIT, SIT and UAT calls with business, functional SMEs and defect triaging.
• Drive adoption of test automation and quality governance across projects.
• Monitor and report testing progress to align with timelines.
• Mentor and coach junior QA team members to build capability.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders including US for efficient delivery.

As a Senior Engineer (II) - QA, you will lead end-to-end testing across enterprise applications, partnering with business stakeholders, SMEs, and global teams to deliver successful FIT, SIT, UAT, and production releases. You will drive test automation, quality governance, and defect management while leveraging AI-enabled testing and data-driven insights to support business transformation and continuous improvement.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Ability to lead FIT, SIT and UAT calls with business, functional SMEs and Defect triaging
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
• Good understanding of performance testing methodologies.
• Monitor and report on the progress of testing activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines.

Skills you bring:

• Perform hands on manual and automated testing across enterprise systems, including Functional, Integration, UAT, and Regression testing
• Develop, maintain, and optimize: Test scripts, Test data sets, Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs)
• Review and validate business and solution requirements to ensure test coverage completeness
• Lead test readiness activities, including Test planning and scoping, Test script development, Test execution scheduling
• Drive adoption of test management standards and best practices, ensuring consistent and scalable processes
• Expand and enhance the test automation footprint, including script development, review, and deployment
• Own and drive testing KPIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed targets
• Support end-to-end transformation initiatives, including requirements gathering through go-live and run-phase support
• Mentor and coach junior QA team members to build team capability and maturity
• Collaborate closely with global stakeholders (including US teams) and offshore partners for efficient delivery
• Comfortable collaborating across time zones and geographies including US.

Technical Skills:

• Must Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP (SD/ MM/FICO), Oracle and Other Web Application testing areas like Workday, E-Commerce applications.
• The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise across systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Salesforce, Oracle
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks. Tricentis Tosca with qTest Preferred.
• Proven experience in enterprise application testing, especially SAP S/4HANA (highly preferred)
• Strong hands on expertise with test management tools (e.g., qTest)
• Good understanding of Use of AI in Test Automation and optimizing testing processes across all test phases.
• Use of Power BI or any dashboarding tools for publishing defects across portfolio
• Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets to inform testing strategies.
• You will also focus on evolving predictive and intelligent testing approaches, leveraging automation and innovative testing products and solutions to drive improvements in quality engineering.
