Job summary

Virtusa is seeking a Java Lead with 6+ years of Kafka experience to drive technical delivery on a production project. You will work with PMs, architects, and IT Ops to ensure accurate estimations, adherence to standards, and robust streaming solutions.

You will utilize Spring Boot, Java, and AWS where applicable, mentor peers, and participate in code reviews while ensuring high-quality delivery and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Kafka experience in a production setting.
• Experience with Event Driven Architecture (EDA).
• Experience with CDC (Change Data Capture) is a plus.
• Spring Boot and Java development experience is required.
• Knowledge of Kafka operations: partitions, brokers, zookeeper, topics.

Responsible for supporting technical delivery of a project.

Supports PM, Test Lead, works collaboratively with the Solution Architect, Business Owner, IT Ops, development parties.
