Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad is seeking a Kafka Developer with 6-10 years of experience to drive streaming data solutions. You will work on Kafka clustering, connectors, and streams, and collaborate with offshore teams to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires hands-on development and deep understanding of Kafka architecture, Zookeeper, producers/consumers, and HA/DR. You will perform code reviews, design analyses, and contribute to documentation and migration strategies.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in Kafka development and delivery
• Hands-on experience with Kafka clustering, architecture, and internals
• Strong knowledge of Kafka brokers, Producers/Consumers, and Kafka Connect/Streams
• Experience with offshore delivery coordination and delivery leadership

Role Kafka Developer

Responsibility

• Coordinate Delivery, work with Offshore and ensure teams delivery
• Work on impediments and help team in managing delivery
• Perform Code Reviews and ensure team follows best practices
• Perform Analysis, design, and new development of Kafka Clustering and Messaging
• Collaborate in documenting System requirements & Design
• At least 3+ years of Hands-on development experience and a deep understanding of the Kafka architecture and internals of how it works, along with the interplay of architectural components: brokers, Zookeeper, Producers/Consumers, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams
• Strong Experience with Kafka connect / KSQL architecture and associated clustering model Hands on experience with Kafka Db connector for Oracle, MySQL Strong fundamentals and experience in Kafka administration, configuration, and troubleshooting Understand and experience with Kafka clustering, and its fault-tolerance model supporting HA and DR
