Job summary

Wissen Technology is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong Apache Kafka experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices. The role focuses on event-driven architectures and cloud-ready services, leveraging Java, REST APIs, and Spring stack.

You will work in a hybrid setup with a focus on delivering high-performance systems for financial services, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing sectors. Minimum 7–12 years of experience expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience designing high-volume, low-latency applications.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable architecture.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or Product-based environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Java 11/17+.
• Build and support event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Develop scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Implement Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and message processing workflows.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements.
