Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT development, and enterprise data integration

• 2+ years of experience developing SQL/PL-SQL-based data ingestion and transformation processes
• 2+ years of experience with data warehousing, data modeling, source-to-target mapping, and data-quality validation

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake-based data pipelines and ELT workflows
• Develop complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and processing
• Build and optimize data ingestion processes for large-volume structured and semi-structured datasets
• Develop Snowflake tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and data transformation logic
• Design and implement source-to-target mappings and transformation rules
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and quality checks
• Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouse utilization, and data processing performance
• Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, performance issues, and data-quality problems
• Develop incremental data-loading and transformation processes
• Collaborate with Data Architects and business teams to translate data requirements into technical solutions
• Support data warehouse and enterprise reporting solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and production support activities
• Implement monitoring and operational controls for data pipelines

The role will collaborate with Data Architects, Business Analysts, reporting teams, and application teams to build reliable and high-performing data solutions supporting large-scale data processing, analytics, and reporting requirements.

Day to Day Job Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake-based data pipelines and ELT workflows.


• Develop complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and processing.


• Build and optimize data ingestion processes for large-volume structured and semi-structured datasets.


• Develop Snowflake tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and data transformation logic.


• Design and implement source-to-target mappings and transformation rules.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT development, and enterprise data integration.


• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, and large-scale data processing.


• 2+ years of experience developing SQL/PL-SQL-based data ingestion and transformation processes.


• 2+ years of experience with data warehousing, data modeling, source-to-target mapping, and data-quality validation.

Core Technical Skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Time Travel.


• Knowledge of Python for data processing and automation.


• Experience with dbt, Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or similar ETL/ELT technologies.


• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.


• Knowledge of cloud storage such as AWS S3 or Azure Data Lake Storage.


• Experience with Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools.


• Understanding of CDC, SCD Type 1/2, schema evolution, and incremental data processing.


• Experience working with structured and semi-structured data such as JSON, XML, or Parquet.


• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, metadata management, and security.


• Experience supporting BI/reporting platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.


• Snowflake certification is preferred.


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
