Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Senior Teamcenter PLM Architect to lead the design and architecture of Siemens Teamcenter solutions end-to-end. You will define roadmaps, translate business requirements into scalable PLM designs, and drive integration with SAP, ERP, MES, CRM, and CAD systems.

The role requires hands-on Teamcenter expertise, strong stakeholder management, and a track record of large-scale PLM transformations across Manufacturing, Automotive, and High-Tech

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 7+ years of hands-on experience in Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
• Deep understanding of Teamcenter Data Model, BMIDE, Active Workspace, Workflow, Change Management.
• Hands-on experience with Teamcenter customization and configuration using ITK, SOA, AWC, RAC, and Teamcenter extensions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions aligned with business and enterprise objectives.
• Define PLM roadmaps and solution strategies with stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Teamcenter designs and integrations.
• Architect end-to-end PLM solutions across PDM/PLM, Change Management, Document Management, and BOM Management.
• Define integration architectures between Teamcenter and SAP, ERP, MES, CRM, ALM, and CAD systems.
• Provide technical leadership for Teamcenter implementation, migration, upgrade, and transformation programs.
• Drive architecture governance, design reviews, and best practice adoption.
• Ensure performance, security, and compliance; collaborate across project lifecycle teams.
• Support proposal development, estimations, and client presentations; drive innovation.

Your Profile

• Lead the design and architecture of Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions aligned with business and enterprise objectives.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and enterprise architects to define PLM roadmaps and solution strategies.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, sustainable Teamcenter solution designs.
• Architect end-to-end PLM solutions covering Product Data Management (PDM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Change Management, Document Management, and BOM Management.
• Define integration architectures between Teamcenter and enterprise applications such as SAP, ERP, MES, CRM, ALM, and CAD systems.
• Provide technical leadership for Teamcenter implementation, migration, upgrade, and transformation programs.
• Lead solution reviews, architecture governance, technical design sessions, and best practice adoption.
• Ensure adherence to performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, testing, and deployment teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support proposal development, solution estimations, technical assessments, and client presentations.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement by leveraging new Teamcenter capabilities and industry best practices.

Your Role

• Minimum 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 7+ years of hands-on experience in Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
• Strong expertise in Teamcenter architecture, solution design, and enterprise PLM implementations.
• Deep understanding of Teamcenter Data Model, BMIDE, Active Workspace, Workflow, Change Management, Classification, and Product Structure Management.
• Hands-on experience with Teamcenter customization and configuration using ITK, SOA, AWC, RAC, and Teamcenter extensions.
• Strong knowledge of Teamcenter integrations with SAP, ERP systems, MES platforms, and third-party enterprise applications.
• Experience in Teamcenter migration, upgrade, and modernization initiatives.
• Expertise in Product Structure/BOM Management, Document Management, Engineering Change Management, and Configuration Management processes.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, SQL, XML, Web Services, REST APIs, and integration technologies.
• Experience with CAD integrations including NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of cloud, infrastructure, deployment, and security architecture concepts.
• Excellent stakeholder management, solution consulting, estimation, and client-facing communication skills.
• Proven experience leading distributed teams and delivering large-scale global PLM transformation programs.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
