Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Teamcenter specialist to design and implement end-to-end Teamcenter solutions, write design documents, and support upgrades and migrations within a global IT software environment.

You will contribute to Teamcenter customization, integration with SAP4Hana and MCAD tools, and align solutions with engineering data management and BOM processes while adhering to governance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Teamcenter UA products and related PLM knowledge.
• Experience with Teamcenter integration and customization.
• Knowledge of mapping business requirements to PLM/Teamcenter framework.

Responsibilities

• Propose and design end-to-end Teamcenter solutions based on requirements.
• Write design documents for Teamcenter implementations.
• Support Teamcenter upgrades and migrations (RAC to Active Workspace).
• Participate in IT software projects using the Teamcenter platform.

Your Role

• Propose and design and implement end to end solution for Teamcenter application based on requirements
• Write design documents for the Teamcenter based implementation
• Support application teams in Teamcenter upgrades
• Support application team in migration of Teamcenter client from RAC to Active workspace
• Participate as team member in IT Software projects using the Teamcenter platform
• Support project team by sharing expertise on how to customize Teamcenter efficiently
• Identify and propose optimizations of existing Teamcenter customization
• Learn and teach design & quality standards for Teamcenter customization and ensure governance

Your Profile

• Teamcenter UA Products are technical knowledge such as Engineering Data Management, BOM Management Workflow, BOM Management, Change Management, Active workspace configuration and Customization, Teamcenter architecture and Data Model configuration.
• Skills in mapping business requirements to PLM/Teamcenter framework. Teamcenter Solution Designing for both Client and Server and integration with third party application such as SAP4Hana, Solid Edge and MCAD Tools.
• Experience in installing, configuring 2-Tier & 4-Tier clients, file management server, dispatcher server & CAD integration, Basic problem-solving skills to resolve Application issues, Troubleshoot and Conduct Root cause analysis.
• Teamcenter client server customization, Teamcenter services SOA customization.
