Job summary

The AES Group in Bengaluru is seeking a Teamcenter PLM Solution Architect to design and implement end-to-end Teamcenter solutions based on client requirements.

You will write design documents, support upgrades and migrations (RAC to Active Workspace), and collaborate with IT software teams to ensure governance and quality of Teamcenter customizations.

Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, web technologies, and integration with SAP4Hana and MCAD tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Teamcenter UA capabilities and end-to-end PLM implementations.
• Ability to map business requirements to Teamcenter framework and design solutions.
• Experience installing/configuring 2-Tier & 4-Tier Teamcenter environments and CAD integrations.
• Strong SDLC/Agile experience with governance of Teamcenter customizations.

Job description

We are looking for Teamcenter PLM Solution Architect to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Should be able to perform below activities:

• Propose and designing and implementing end to end solution for Teamcenter application based on requirements
• Writing design documents for the Teamcenter based implementation
• Supporting application teams in Teamcenter upgrades
• Supporting application team in migration of Teamcenter client from RAC to Active workspace
• Participating as team member in IT Software projects using the Teamcenter platform
• Supporting project team by sharing expertise on how to customize Teamcenter efficiently
• Identifying and proposing optimizations of existing Teamcenter customization
• Learning and teaching design & quality standards for Teamcenter customization and ensuring governance

Required Skills:

• Technical knowledge in Teamcenter UA Products such as Engineering Data Management, BOM Management Workflow, BOM Management, Change Management, Active workspace configuration and Customization, Teamcenter architecture and Data Model configuration.
• Skills in mapping business requirements to PLM/Teamcenter framework.
• Teamcenter Solution Designing for both Client and Server and integration with third party application such as SAP4Hana, Solid Edge and MCAD Tools.
• Experience in installing, configuring 2-Tier & 4-Tier clients, file management server, dispatcher server & CAD integration, Basic problem-solving skills to resolve Application issues, Troubleshoot and Conduct Root cause analysis.
• Teamcenter client server customization, Teamcenter services SOA customization.

Language Skills

C/C++ programming language and TC server side (ITK & SOA) customization.

Declarative UI configuration (Active Workspace) and Customization.

Good knowledge of web technologies e.g., XSLT, HTML, Java script, JSON, Teamcenter ITK, SOA programming, Web methods & webservice architecture.

• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile and build to run.
• Strong customer focus, including the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities.
• Needs strong oral and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent judgment and self-motivation.
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
