Qualifications

• Experience with SOA services development and Teamcenter TcUA.
• Hands-on experience with AWC (Active Workspace) customization and integrations.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Developer with strong expertise in Teamcenter PLM customization, Active Workspace (AWC), ITK, BMIDE, and SOA services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and customizing Teamcenter solutions to support enterprise-wide Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives.

This role offers an opportunity to work on a large-scale PLM transformation program for a global Hi-Tech manufacturing organization, contributing to the implementation and enhancement of Teamcenter-based business processes across product development, manufacturing, and engineering functions.

Key Responsibilities

Teamcenter Development & Customization

• Design, develop, and implement Teamcenter customizations using ITK (C/C++), SOA, and Teamcenter server-side extensions.
• Develop and maintain custom business logic, workflows, handlers, exits, and integrations within the Teamcenter environment.
• Customize and configure Active Workspace (AWC) to meet business and user requirements.
• Create and deploy custom Teamcenter components and functionalities following best practices.
• Perform Teamcenter server-side development using C++, C#, and Teamcenter APIs.

Data Model & Configuration

• Configure and extend Teamcenter data models using BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE).
• Customize business objects, properties, datasets, forms, and relations.
• Configure workflows, access controls, validation rules, and lifecycle management processes.
• Support migration and deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments.

Integration & SOA Development

• Develop and consume Teamcenter SOA services for system integrations.
• Build interfaces between Teamcenter and external enterprise applications such as ERP, MES, CAD, and third‑party systems.
• Support API and service-based integrations to ensure seamless data exchange across platforms.

PLM Process Implementation

• Implement and support Teamcenter modules including:
  • Part Management
  • Document Management
  • BOM Management
  • Manufacturing BOM (MBOM) Management
  • Service BOM Management
  • Change & Configuration Management
  • Product Structure Management

Testing & Support

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting for Teamcenter customizations.
• Analyze and resolve production issues with minimal business disruption.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and deployment activities.
• Optimize Teamcenter performance and ensure system stability.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, functional consultants, and project stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• Participate in Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
• Work effectively in onsite-offshore and multi-vendor environments.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to project teams.

Required Technical Skills

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Teamcenter PLM Development and Customization.
