Qualifications

Team Sales Manager Retail Broking 7+ Years – Mumbai

We are hiring a Team Sales Manager – Retail Broking for a leading General Insurance company. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Retail Broking, Agency Sales, Broker Relationship Management, General Insurance Sales, Team Leadership, Business Development, and Strategic Partnerships who can drive business growth through retail brokers, lead high-performing teams, and strengthen broker relationships.

Responsibilities –

1. Drive and achieve business growth through small and mid-sized retail brokers while delivering monthly topline targets.
2. Develop and strengthen relationships with retail brokers, ensuring broker onboarding, activation, and portfolio expansion.
3. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Relationship Managers to maximize productivity and achieve business objectives.
4. Drive diversification into Non-Motor Insurance products while ensuring profitability, GWP growth, and maintaining the target Combined Ratio (COR).
5. Identify new business opportunities, ensure IRDAI compliance, resolve underwriting and policy-related issues, and expand the broker network.

Requirements –

1. Graduate (Insurance Graduate preferred) with 7+ years of experience in General Insurance, specifically in Retail Broking.
2. Proven experience in Retail Broking, Broker Sales, Agency Sales, Channel Sales, or Strategic Partnerships.
3. Strong experience in team handling, broker relationship management, and achieving business targets.
4. Sound understanding of General Insurance products, GWP, profitability, broker management, and business development.
5. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Excel.
