Job summary

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. in Visakhapatnam, India, is seeking a Senior/Lead Product Engineer to drive product engineering across geographies.

You will lead DevOps‑driven delivery, align roadmaps with business goals, and push AI‑enabled coding practices while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. The role requires 5+ years (or 7+ years) of relevant experience, a degree in Engineering/CS, and preferably an MBA.

Qualifications

• Graduation in Engineering, Computer Science or related field mandatory.
• MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years or 7+ years experience as Senior/Lead Product Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Enable DevOps-based delivery processes across diverse stacks for seamless deployment.
• Ensure Agile Scrum compliance with iterative delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
• Contribute to product tech strategy aligning roadmaps with business goals with PMs.
• Drive development across concept to release, ensuring timely quality outcomes.
• Foster AI-augmented coding to improve productivity and quality.
• Lead continuous improvements and feature increments aligned with KPIs.
• Define delivery metrics and ensure efficient, compliant processes.
• Ensure deliverables meet timelines, scope, budget and performance.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Enable DevOps-based delivery processes across diverse technology stacks to ensure seamless integration and rapid deployment.
• Ensure compliance with Agile Scrum-based development methodologies, fostering iterative delivery and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Contribute to the product’s overall technology strategy, aligning execution roadmaps with business goals in partnership with product managers.
• Drive development activities across the product lifecycle, including concept, prototyping, validation, and release, ensuring timely and quality outcomes.
• Enable innovation in development practices, leveraging AI-augmented coding tools and frameworks to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Drive continuous improvements and feature increments, aligned with business KPIs, customer feedback, and scalability needs.
• Define delivery success metrics, deploying best-in-class development processes that optimize efficiency, reliability, and compliance.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet targeted requirements, including timelines, feature scope, budget, quality standards, regulatory compliance, and system performance.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: Graduation in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field is mandatory. MBA is preferred.

Minimum Work Experience: 5+ / 7+ years of experience.
