Job summary

Saint-Gobain Group in India is seeking a skilled screen printing operator to join our production team in Thane, Maharashtra. You will review job cards, line artwork, specifications and production schedules to start the job and ensure proper alignment.

You will operate semi-automatic or automatic screen-printing machines, monitor print quality, inspect for defects, perform routine cleaning and maintenance, and maintain production records while complying with safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review Job card, line artwork, specifications, and production schedules before starting of the job.
• Perform screen mounting and alignment and registration to ensure proper print
• Operate semi-automatic, or automatic screen-printing machines efficiently.
• Monitor print quality throughout production and make necessary adjustments.
• Can able inspect printed products for defects such as smudging/ink spreading, color variation, misregistration, or any misprints.
• Perform regular machine cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain production records, output reports, and quality inspection documents.
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and environmental requirements.
• Minimize material wastage and optimize productivity.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to resolve process issues.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
