Job summary

SGS & Co is seeking a proactive Print Production Coordinator to translate client briefs into actionable production steps. You will understand corporate guidelines and brief the appropriate cell units, serving as a crucial liaison between client and SGS.

You will manage projects from artwork design through to print, track timelines, and contribute technical knowledge in pre-production meetings. You will coordinate with clients and printers to ensure accurate information is gathered to start the

Responsibilities

• Understand corporate guidelines and be able to brief a job clearly to the corresponding cell unit(s);
• Serves as key liaison between client and SGS;
• Take project briefs and follows procedures for costing and quoting;
• Works direct with client & printer collating required information to start the job;
• Promotes, services and exceeds customer expectations through vigilance and being pro-active to clients present and future needs;
• Brief off-site production cell;
• Track and maintain projects to ensure product launch timelines;
• Contribute technical knowledge in pre-production meetings;
• Manage projects from artwork design through to print;
• Liaison with printer on any print technical issue.
• Periodically contact printers getting the latest printer specification;
• Participate in the CAR investigation, if needed;
• Learn and use client appointed system to record all checks that have been done;
• Any ad hoc task as assigned by Lead Print Production Manager, Cell Manager or Site Management
• Ability to transfer client's requirement into a workable solution.
