Job summary

Aditya Birla Capital is seeking a software developer to design and implement enhancements across Loan Origination (LOS), Loan Management (LMS), BRE, interfaces, and API gateways for digital lending products, both secured and unsecured. You will ensure scalable, reliable behavior while integrating with CKYC, credit bureaus, banking APIs, e-sign/e-stamp, payment gateways, and risk engines.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of software development experience in BFSI/FinTech.

• Understanding of lending lifecycle and integration with external systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate into system designs and tasks.
• Develop and enhance LOS/LMS modules, workflows, and disbursement logic.
• Implement BRE configurations including risk and pricing rules.
• Build and optimize REST APIs, adapters and interfaces.

Job Context

The role is responsible for designing and developing enhancements across Loan Origination (LOS), Loan Management (LMS), Business Rule Engines (BRE), Interfaces, and API gateways to support digital lending products (secured & unsecured). The developer must ensure stable, scalable application behavior while integrating with multiple internal/external systems such as CKYC, bureaus, banking APIs, esign/estamp providers, payment gateways, accounting systems, collections platforms, and risk engines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into system design, technical specifications, and development tasks.
• Develop and enhance modules in LOS/LMS, including workflows, validations, disbursement logic, schedules, charges, repayment, and servicing features.
• Implement BRE configurations including eligibility rules, scorecards, risk rules, pricing rules, FOIR/DTI logic, etc.
• Build and enhance REST APIs, SOAP services, adapters, interface layers, and thirdparty integrations.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, views, procedures, DB jobs, and ensure performance tuning.
• Conduct unit tests, SIT/UAT fixes, regression validations and support production deployment activities.
• Ensure compliance to secure coding standards, audit requirements and data security policies.
• Work closely with Product Owners, QA, DevOps, Database teams, Vendors, and Business to deliver releases.
• Participate in defect triage, impact analysis, RCA, and preventive improvement planning.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, code repositories, and version control practices.

Requirements & Skills

• 3–8 years of experience in software development in BFSI/FinTech domain (preferred).
• Strong handson experience in:
• Java / .NET / Python
• SQL / PLSQL / TSQL
• APIs (REST/SOAP), Postman, JSON, XML
• Microservices, messaging queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ) (preferred)
• Git, CI/CD, Jenkins/Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of lending lifecycle (LOS → BRE → LMS → Collections).
• Exposure to data structures, algorithms, error handling and code optimization.
• Strong debugging capability across application, database, and integration layers.
