You will oversee the Ayurveda centre, train therapists, and coordinate wellness itineraries while maintaining sustainability commitments and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Three+ years experience in luxury spas or health clubs with proven results.

• Excellent English with some local language knowledge; uphold Six Senses standards.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

As Head Clinician, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of all wellness tasks to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. I will perform the following relevant tasks for this role:

• I will assist to ensure that all set policies, procedures, best practices are in place and rigorously enforced.
• A high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene, plus comprehensive knowledge of safety, security and emergency procedures will be maintained in line with brand and statutory requirements.
• All activities within the department will be carried out ethically, honestly and within the parameters of local law.
• An important part of the role is to interact with guests and hosts in a professional, courteous, and positive manner and proactively seek feedback, using guest name whenever possible. I am responsible for an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. In the event of guest complaints, I will effectively carry out service recovery or charge our hosts to do so to the satisfaction of guests.
• Ayurveda lifestyle consultations
• Wellness consultations for guest.
• Wellness operations: crafting the itinerary, wellness notes, arrival, and departure notes/ printing itinerary.
• Custodian of guest wellness journey in Six Senses Vana during their entire stay, guest interactions at Salana
• Operational responsibility of Ayurveda centre
• Training and development on Ayurveda therapies for therapist according to their needs and skills.
• Wellness communications with guest. (pre-arrival and post departure)
• Inform relevant essence of the wellness assessment form to concerned practitioner.
• Facilitate activities as per Retreat Programs
• Enhance guest experience through constant research and development on flow of service and offering.
• Analysis of individual departmental inventory and product usage for efficient cost control.
• Maintain departmental leave calendar.
  

Qualifications

As Head Clinician, I confirm that I have the required qualifications, technical skills and at least three years’ experience in a similar or greater role in luxury spas and health clubs with proven results and includes the following:

• I have studied or have broad knowledge on anatomy and physiology and massage therapy.
• I am a personally involved, visible and proactive host with excellent organizational skills. I have an intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer and I have experience and I can work in a cross-cultural environment positively.
• Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• I have an excellent command of written and spoken English and some knowledge of the local language and customs. I will maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses in terms of guidelines, rules and regulations, brand and operating standards, facilities, and services.
