Job summary

Saint Gobain in Chennai seeks a Finance professional to liaise with stakeholders for price control and management, analyze cost drivers, and work with the Plant Operations team on cost-reduction projects. You will prepare budgets and rolling forecasts, and study fixed costs and overheads.

You will partner with the Purchasing team to optimize purchasing costs, generate MIS reports on inventory, spares and consumables, benchmark plant costs across locations, and evaluate payback for investments.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with relevant stakeholders for price control and management
• Understanding key drivers of the cost elements and working closely with Plant Operations Team exploring various cost reduction projects.
