Job summary

Adani Group is seeking a Finance professional to monitor and control organizational spend, ensuring adherence to budgets and governance frameworks. The role involves analyzing variances, partnering with cross‑functional teams, and preparing spend MIS and management reports.

You will support annual budgeting, re‑forecasting, and cost‑reduction initiatives while ensuring OPEX and CAPEX classifications are accurate. Strong ERP and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / Post‑graduate in Finance or equivalent qualification.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in spend control, cost management, FP&A, or financial controlling.
• Strong experience in budget management, variance analysis, and cost governance.
• Hands‑on exposure to OPEX / Admin / indirect spend tracking and control.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel / MIS reporting.
• Good understanding of internal controls, approval frameworks, and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control organizational spend against approved budgets and forecasts.
• Track actuals vs budget, analyze variances, and highlight key cost drivers.
• Ensure adherence to spend governance frameworks, approval matrices, and group policies.
• Review purchase requests, contracts, and invoices for budget availability and compliance.
• Identify cost‑optimization and efficiency improvement opportunities across functions.
• Partner with business, procurement, and admin teams to drive cost discipline.
• Prepare periodic spend MIS, dashboards, and management reports.
• Support annual budgeting, re‑forecasting, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Ensure correct expense classification between OPEX and CAPEX.
• Strengthen spend visibility through category‑wise and vendor‑wise analysis.
• Track savings initiatives and validate realization of benefits.
• Support audits by providing spend data, explanations, and documentation.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement in spend control processes.
