Job summary

Altisource in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Mortgage Foreclosure Specialist to manage foreclosure processes on default loans, verify documents, and ensure compliance with state requirements.

You will liaise with searchers, review borrower details for protections, and conduct regular audits of mortgage processes, using strong verbal English and analytical skills to deliver accurate results.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in voice/semi-voice mortgage processes.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with fluent English and neutral accent.
• Strong analytical and cognitive abilities.
• Attention to detail with ability to review complex documents.

Responsibilities

• Initiating foreclosure procedures on default loans and completing foreclosure per state requirements.
• Obtaining pre-foreclosure notices and verifying document validity.
• Researching title search documents to ensure clear title before foreclosure.
• Reviewing borrower details to assess state protections impacting foreclosure.
• Ensuring regular compliance testing and auditing of mortgage processes.

Job Description

• Knowledge about Foreclosure process
• Strong communication skills and Good interpersonal skills with an ability to understand the customer’s problem and solving them
• Initiating foreclosure procedure on default loans and completing the foreclosure as per the state requirements.
• Obtaining all the required Pre-Foreclosure notices and verifying the validity of the documents.
• Researching the title search documents obtained from county office records provided by searcher (Title Abstracter) to ensure that the property and the title does not have any issues in order to proceed with the foreclosure.
• Reviewing the borrower details in order to determine whether the borrower is falling under any state regulated protections which in turn will have an effect on the Foreclosure
• Ensuring regular compliance testing or auditing on internal mortgage processes

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years experience in voice / semi vocie Mortgage process
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills with fluent English and neutral accent
• Must have good analytical and cognitive skills
• Must have an eye for attention to detail
