Job summary

Pcbpower in Gujarat, India, seeks a skilled technician to support the laminating and alignment of PCB panels. You will work with inner cores, prepregs, copper foils, and registration pins to ensure precise stacking and registration.

The role requires manual handling of heavy press plates, monitoring temperature, pressure, and vacuum profiles, and inspecting bonded panels for defects, delamination, or misregistration.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in electronics manufacturing or PCB fabrication.
• Understanding of PCB stack-ups, material properties, and lamination profiles.
• Dexterity and attention to detail for handling copper foils and insulating sheets.
• Ability to lift heavy press plates and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Layer layup and alignment of inner cores, prepregs and copper foils with registration pins for precise stacking.
• Machine operation: load/unload heavy press plates and panels into bonding presses.
• Control process parameters: temperature, pressure and vacuum to cure resin without warping.
• Quality inspection: check bonded panels for defects, delamination or misregistration.

Job description

- Layer Layup & Alignment: Precisely stack inner cores, prepreg, and copper foils using registration pins to ensure perfect alignment.

- Machine Operation: Load and unload heavy steel plates and panels into large industrial bonding presses.

- Parameter Control: Program and monitor precise temperature, pressure, and vacuum profiles to melt and cure the resin without causing warping or air voids.

- Quality Inspection: Inspect bonded panels for defects, delamination, or misregistration using measurement tools and visual checks.

Key Requirements & Skills

- Experience: 1–3 years in electronics manufacturing or printed circuit board fabrication.

- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of PCB stack-ups, material properties, and lamination profiles.

- Dexterity & Detail Orientation: High level of hand-eye coordination and attention to detail for handling fragile copper foils and insulating sheets.

- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy steel press plates and stand for extended periods.
