Job summary

ON Semiconductor Bengaluru is seeking a Lab Technician to support Senior Technicians in board bring-up and shipment packing. The role involves close collaboration with the Test Tune Manager to execute duties across testing, tuning, and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with boards, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A Diploma in Electronics is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics or related field required.
• Hands-on experience with board bring-up, testing and troubleshooting ideal.
• Knowledge of PCB/PCA assembly processes and good communication skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support testing and tuning of headboards, demo boards, and use-case platforms.
• Deliver demo board testing and tuning per documented procedures and weekly plans.
• Ensure demo boards meet ON Semiconductor quality specifications.
• Read, understand, and implement ECOs related to board rework.
• Assist Lab Manager in maintaining the laboratory and managing raw material inventory.
• Support daily lab operations, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance.
• Assist with packing and preparing shipments as required.

Job Summary

The Lab Technician will support Senior Technicians in board bring-up activities and shipment packing. The candidate will work closely with Senior Technicians, and the Test Tune Manager on various tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Key Responsibilities

• Support the testing and tuning of headboards, demo boards, adapter boards, and use-case demo platforms.
• Deliver demo board testing and tuning activities in accordance with documented procedures and weekly plans.
• Ensure demo board builds meet ON Semiconductor quality specifications.
• Read, understand, and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) related to board rework.
• Assist the Lab Manager in maintaining the laboratory and managing raw material inventory.
• Support daily lab operations, equipment maintenance, and compliance with laboratory safety requirements.
• Assist with packing and preparing shipments as required.
